Hey guys! Time for my next review post and this time it’s Aşk Laftan Anlamaz (Love doesn’t understand words). I started watching it because it had very high ratings and also I love trying new stuff and so I got my sister to download it and we watched. So Aşk Laftan Anlamaz is a Turkish romantic comedy starring Hande Erçel as Hayat Uzun, Burak Deniz as Murat Sarsilmaz.
Hayat uzun, from Giresun, currently living in Istanbul with her two friends, Asli (Özcan Tekdemir) and Ipek (Merve Çağıran). One fine day her mother, Emine alongside her sister Fadik, who is the landlord of the place where the girls are staying in. She comes with a warning that If by the end of the day Hayat is not securely employed she would be forced to take her back to Giresun as instructed by her Husband, Hayat’s father.
While trying to find a new job, Hayat stumbles upon Murat Sarsilmaz, head of a multi national textile company(Sarte), and insults him and he is very surprised by Hayat’s naivety. Little did she know that the interview for the company that she was going for was none other than Sarte. During the interview she accidentally takes the CV of Suna Pektas and gets hired using her CV. Everyone, including Murat, remains oblivious of Hayat’s true identity; she and Ipek manage to convince the real Suna to keep quiet. Despite their constant arguing, Murat and Hayat begin to fall in love.
Now what happens when Murat finds out that Hayat has been lying to him this whole time? Well I know what happens but I would want you to find it out yourself.
Its a very simple, sweet, cute show and the events that happen are just so relate-able to real life!
My review- It’s a great show for time-pass. If you like rom-com you would love it. Till episode 18 it’s pure comedy and fun, from 19 it get’s a little serious but then till it’s last episode it fluctuates from comedy to serious. At some points it get’s a little too dramatic with stuff but things come back to normal in the end. Overall it’s an enjoyable show and I would say it’s a ONE TIME WATCH. Oh and also, there are so many pretty faces, there’s Hande ercel….guilty pleasure….lol.
If I were to rate it, I would give it a 3.9/5.
