1- Introduce yourself to everyone.

2- I see you are quite fascinated by dragons, why is it so?

That’s a good question!  When I was a kid, I remember the song “Puff the Magic Dragon” and I always that it was cool.  I never knew it was a reference to marijuana, but that’s kind of funny now.  I’ve always loved stories with dragons in them.  I always thought they were misunderstood.  These days I’ve been watching Game of Thrones and the dragons there are amazing.  I’ve always been a stuffed animal collector and dragons have always been one of my favorite categories.  Right now I am obsessed with Worry Eaters, also known as  Sorgenfresser in their native country.  They are these little stuffed monster-typed stuffed dolls who have zipper mouths.  The idea is that kids can write down or draw their fears and worries, stuff them into the worry eater’s mouth, and then the worry should go away.  I LOVE this idea!  Besides, they are cute!

3- You have pets, can you tell the readers about them and share a few pictures?

I have two Great Danes.  One is an absolute angel named Levi and he is 8 years old.  The other is a 9-month old demonic puppy named Walter.
I have two cats.  One is a big fluffy calico named Lily and she is 10 years old.  The other is Echo and he is a tiny all black Siamese and he’s 18 years old!
I have a 50 gallon tank of freshwater fish.  I only keep fish from the Amazon so their needs are similar.  I have big vegetarian fish and little carnivores!

This is Walt. (OMG how cute is the second pic! ❤ ❤ <3)

White one is Levi. (I see Levi is passing me a blink. xD)

These are the cats. Lilly is the black one and Echo is the Calico cat.

4- I’ve been meaning to ask this, I saw on many of your award posts you’ve asked people, their favorite cloud. I would love to know why?

I have always loved clouds.  I think it comes from a combination of my Mom’s fascination with weather and my love of science.  I not only like the looks of clouds, but how they form is fascinating.  Weather is fascinating.  I am a proud member of The Cloud Appreciation Society https://cloudappreciationsociety.org/  They have an app where you can take a pic of a cloud, tell them what it is, and if you are right it gets added to your life list of clouds.  It’s like a game with stats and you get to share your clouds with others all over the world.  Lots of fun!

5- Your favorite author and his favorite book.

This is really hard.  The author is easy.  Tom Robbins, hands down.  Favorite book of his?  Pick one, pick any; they are all amazing!

6- One book that you desperately wanna live.

Wow, I don’t really have a book that I’d want to live.  Oh wait!  I have a children’s book that I would want to live!  Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.  Monsters, a great rumpus, and a hot supper…oh yeah!

7- You have one day to yourself and everything is free in the world. What do you do?

I would try to ride every mode of transportation I could.  I love riding trains, taking boat rides, flying in small planes, all sorts of transportation.  I have never ridden in a hot air balloon or flown in a helicopter or been on a fan boat.  I’m sure there are many, many more forms I haven’t even thought of, yet.

8- You get to be your favorite animal for one day, what would it be and what would be your itinerary.

Can I be a dragon?  I would like to do good deeds as a dragon so people wouldn’t be afraid of my kind.  Dragons are so misunderstood.

9- You have magical powers for one day, what do you do?

Wow, this is a hard one.  I’d like to think that I could get all of the world leaders together and get them to stop promoting war.  OH, I know what I would do.

I would put an end to animal cruelty.
I would protect all endangered species, even our own.
I would try to promote the importance of bees.  They are dying and we need them.
I would also get rid of all the wires in the world.  Wireless baby, it’s the only way.

Also, it would be nice if we could all use fingerprint technology as much as possible.  Passwords are so tiresome!

I would give the arts the same budget as sports.  Can you imagine a world where a concert would cost the same as a football game to produce. Or a play would be as expensive to put on as a basketball game?  The arts are greatly underfunded and unappreciated.

I would become Donald Trump’s chief advisor and get him to:

Stop his silly notion that climate change is a hoax.
Stop ruining the environment for profits for the rich
Stop the misogyny
Stop hating immigrants…we are all immigrants here.
Stop promoting anti-Muslim hatred
Stop promoting racism of all kinds
Stop talking before thinking
Stop taking healthcare away from the poor to put money in the pockets of the rich
Stop getting rid of people because they disagree
Stop hiring people because all they do is agree

Oh gosh, the list is way too long and would probably take more than a day.  Sooo, I would take my magical powers to make the day a lot longer so I could push my ideas and make them Trump’s agenda and save the world.  Hahaha, if only it were that easy.

(HAHAHA I love this answer!)

10- Bel, Cindrella, Snow white, Elsa…. which princess story you wanna live or see in real life?

This one was a bit of a puzzler because I’m not much of a princess person and I haven’t kept up on my princess stories.  However, I took a look at some princess bios and one was just awesome.  I’m not sure if she’s really a princess, but I want to be Mulan.  She’s strong, powerful, brave and pretended to be a guy so she could become a warrior and make her family proud.  It’s kind of sad that she had to pretend to be a guy to become a warrior, but as a society, we’ll get there someday.  As I was reading along I found out she had a dragon!  Perfect!  The cricket was just an added bonus!

11- Your top 5 holiday destinations.

We have two places we like to go every year if we can.  The first is Littleton, New Hampshire.  It’s a small town and we just love it there.  One of its big attractions is the longest candy counter in the world!  Another cool thing is that it has the oldest motel in New Hampshire.  I think I’ll do a post on that one. It’s a really cool place.

A second must location for vacation is St. Andrews by the Sea in New Brunswick.  It’s a little tourist town, but it’s like tourist towns were years ago.  It’s very laid back and it’s nice to just hang out by the ocean, go shell or rock hunting, and eat some really great food.  We have been there so many times we almost always do the same things, eat at the same places and stay at the same place.  Again, there is a really cool old motel there and we have become friends with the owners over the years.  I love old motels.  Don’t ask me why, but they seem to have kitschy character.

Another place we have visited and enjoyed is Montreal.  It’s a really nice city and has some great sights.  I LOVE the botanical garden there.  I haven’t been there in years and I hear they now have an insectarium.  That is definitely on my bucket list.  Bugs fascinate me.  I know, I’m weird, but there it is.  Plus, and perhaps most importantly, one of my best friends lives there.  🙂

I really enjoyed a week I spent in Chicago.  It was a business trip and I got to stay at the Drake Hotel, go to the Shedd Aquarium, take the architecture boat tour. It was loads of fun.

On of the best places to spend a holiday is right here in Maine.  Maine is known as Vacationland, and for good reason.  In the summer it is the best place on earth as far as I’m concerned.  We spend a lot of days just going to the lake or the ocean.  In the fall the leaf colors are brilliant and we do a foliage tour.  In the spring we open up “camp” which is our little cottage on a lake.  I can just sit in the screen porch and watch an amazing amount of wildlife.  The list goes on and on.  I’m not a big fan of cold weather, but the snow is gorgeous when it first falls on the trees.  It’s truly a winter wonderland.

(Ahh! I just wanna visit them all now!)
