Monsoon is here

“Stepping out the door

Walking on this marble floor

I see above

Birds flying high like dove

Almost trying to say something

Soon I became aware of

That sun was worn off

Taken over by these cotton balls

Breaking through these heat walls

A subtle drop just kissed my hands

It was time for water to fill these lands

A gentle breeze of eerie silence dawned

But soon turned into thunderstorm

Divine light started flickering

Clouds started tinkering

Thick drops now begun to hit the ground

A grey blanket was soon found

It’s finally here-they said

Monsoon is here-they exclaimed”
