Life in its true form

Let’s stand together, holding hands

Syncopated breathing, Rugged will

Let’s stand on the edge of this mighty cliff

Looking down at what’s happened

Or Looking up for what’s coming

Our bodies darkening against this sunset

Coming in reds and orange

Let’s promise not to loose

Neither one another nor to life

Because living is not viable

If it’s not laconic

Not in mere pieces of dollars

Or fancy cashmere sweaters.”
