Liebster Award Take-2

Hey everyone! So its been long since I have been nominated for an award. Although I have done most of them, but here I received a notification that one of my fellow readers nominated me for Liebster Award. I am highly obliged for this nomination and want to thank a ton to Rudra Makwana@Tinte. New to this blogging community she is an amazing writer with some wonderful work. Here’s one of her works which I absolutely love – Carved Love. Do check out her blog, and this post. Now moving on to this award.

1. Create a new post thanking the person who nominated you, link their blog. Include award graphic.
2. Answer the questions provided.
3. Make a new set of 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
4. Nominate 5-10 recently followed bloggers and share your post with them so they see it.

Rudra’s Questions

1. What inspires you as a writer?

I started off this blog primarily to post my photography stuff. But I found it getting to monotonous and I’m not a photography student or a pro that I could give some real out of the box stuff. So I came across this Daily post – Prompts. I started off amateur poetry stuff based on the prompts and got a good response so I continued with it. I usually take inspiration from my own life and if I’m gonna go abstract I will say I’m deeply inspired by nature. A remarkable number of my poems are about nature, or a part of nature, or an emotion related to nature.

2. What is the most fascinating thing about being a blog writer?

The most fascinating thing about being a blog writer is the fact that 100’s of people read your stuff everyday, love your stuff and wish for more of it. You don’t even know those people but you feel their love, you feel their warmth for you via this amazing blogosphere.

3. What’s the one thing that transformed your life?

My dad is in a government job here, so he gets transferred to a new city every like 5-6 years. So I have always experienced change in my life and surroundings. Perhaps thats the reason I get so comfortable in a new place easily, because I have grown up doing that. I am very comfortable to change, because you can’t be stuck at one place your entire life. Literally and metaphorically. I see people around me who get mad because of one small change in their life and they struggle coz of it.

4. What makes a good content? How do you know if a piece of writing is doing well?

I guess if your readers reach the end of your content and are either satisfied with it or wish for more. I guess thats a good content. Even if one reader has read your post and liked it and didn’t leave halfway, thats a good content.

5. What genre books you like and why ?

Hahahaha, I guess I should make this my by-line but then Idk what people will react. I don’t read. I hate reading a novel, I don’t have the patience to sit through a 700 pg book. I have never touched a book apart from my course books ever in my life. Although if in a alternate universe, an alternate me would like reading I guess he would like Sci-fi, Mysteries and horror. They are my favorite genre in movies so I guess I would like to read them too.

6. What do you usually write about on your blog?

My blog mostly features some poetry stuff. Other than that you will find some photography I do. I post some of my artworks every saturday. I also occasionally write about some crazy life situations I encounter. I am soon starting my fashion blog as a part of this blog.

7. What should be the ideal length of the content?

Content should be crisp and to the point. Or if you are taking side turns then post your stuff in breaks. I mean thats my point, it may differ from others. 200-300 words should be apt, because all of us have other blogs that we have followed which we have to read in a limited time.

8. What is the one trait that makes you different from everyone?

I can blend in with any age group. I can be a 6yr old kid when I am with a 6 yr old. I can be a untolerable teen when I am with one. I can be a mature kid when I am with grown ups. I can talk supernatural stuff with super old people. I can fit in with anyone and everyone.

9. What are some of the things that makes you confident ?

For the things I am not good at, I consider it as a trial and error of life, that gives me the confidence to go through with it. Other than this, I never really thought of what made me confident. I guess whenever I am in a doubtful situation, I just think of the worst thing that can happen, and assure myself it wont and then I go through with it. Mostly works.

10 What your posts are based on? Are they based on your emotions or they are trying to give a social message to a reader? Also share your favorite blog posts.

Not really trying to send a social message or anything via my posts. We all are surrounded by life for 8 hours of day. I feel that I would give something to my readers that will give them a break from their life, which we all need, even if its for 1- 2 seconds. Sometimes they are about myself, but rarely.

My favorite posts include – The Beauty Within (This is my top favorite one.)

This Indian Bride

This Handknit love

She went with a smile

 Tryna be a singer

Well, Rudra these questions were absolutely amazing. You put so much thought into these. I really enjoyed answering them. Thank you so much again for the second nomination.
