Prejudiced Love

maxresdefault (1)

Plucking off that little petal….oh how easy was it for you

silent….numb… an eerie peace….all I was left with

which u created… plucking out that lag piece, callously,

that destitute piece of emotion

Tottering the horizon, suffering the nuances of pain, regret and laconism

A petal which once shined bright as sun caressed it

Festering in this void, you created

When you plucked it, thought I didn’t know

While I nurtured this flower with love and care

You wanted it for someone else

Decayed and dead in this void, you created

When you plucked it, that final piece off of my heart.”

Disclaimer-Okay I’m not going through anything, as it may seem otherwise from this poem or the previous one. I’m just exploring my sides of poetry.
