Three years ago me and my family went to Jodhpur. It is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. It’s the second largest city in Rajasthan.
So my review of the place, first review is the place is hot. Pretty hot, and its dry hot not humid hot. The first place I visited was Mehrangarh fort, beautiful fort, amazing architecture. Then there’s Umaid Bhavan and one descendent of the king’s family still resides there. One part of the palace is turned to a museum and another part is a hotel and the king lives in the other part. Then I visited the desert area in jodhpur, I’m forgetting the name… Yes it was Osian. That was the best part of the trip! The camel rides, watching the sunset through the sand dunes, followed by some traditional Rajasthani Dance and songs, followed by some traditional Rajasthani Food. All in all the place is not to be missed, some great historical memories are in those majestic forts and also the scenic beauty of the place. (Check more out here)
So years back me and family went to Dalhousie. It’s a hill station in Himachal Pradesh, established by Britishers. What a beautiful place I must say. We stayed at Lal Ji Resort, beautiful hotel to stay with some amazing cuisines to offer. The Family suite has some amazing sunset and sunrise views. The beauty of seeing sun rise through the mountains amidst the clouds is just ecstatic. We went for hiking and also visited Khajjiar, which is certified as Mini Switzerland of India (Do visit it, It’s a must!). Anyways again I got hold of the camera and did some random shots of nature.
